Accounting

The Accounting module is used to generate actual and accrual COS values (known as cost of sales or cost of goods sold) for batteries, terminals, feeder pipelines, trunk pipelines and refineries. The COS is calculated by prorating inventory and transactions on that facility using FIFO, LIFO and Weighted Average accounting methodologies.

Accounting Editor

The Accounting Editor uses closed and working accounting months to process the accounting for a selected month.

Initialize Inventory

The Initialize Inventory View is used to set up the accounting module. It facilitates the entry of Cost Methods, Initial Opening Volume, and Price information for all pipeline and product combinations required.

Reports

This module is used to create information used by the following reports

• GL Summary Report
• PL Summary Report
• Monthly Inventory Report
• Acquisition Summary Report
• Disposition Summary Report
